A man shot his daughter in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On April 27, 2026, at 17:57, Incidents: A resident of the Kulebaki district has been detained on suspicion of murdering his own daughter. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The tragedy occurred in April 2026 in a residential building on Lugovaya Street in the Milk Farm settlement. According to the investigation, the 65-year-old father had an argument with his daughter and, in the heat of the conflict, shot her at least twice with a firearm. The woman died at the scene from her injuries.

      A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). The man has been placed in custody as a preventive measure. The firearm has been seized, and investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

      Earlier, we reported that a teenager stabbed a 16-year-old acquaintance in Kulebaki.
