      On April 27, 2026, at 11:30, Incidents The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court sentenced criminal authority Zviad Ozmanyan. According to the regional prosecutor's office, he was found guilty under Article 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — occupying a high position in the criminal hierarchy. It was established that while serving his sentence in correctional facilities in the region, the man, previously convicted of crimes related to illegal drug trafficking, took a leading position in the criminal environment. From February 2014 to July 2024, he used his status to control compliance with the "rules" among the convicts. In addition, he empowered certain inmates with corresponding authority. Furthermore, according to the investigation, Ozmanyan oversaw the distribution of prohibited items within the colony, monitored the replenishment of the "common fund," and managed the resources of the criminal community. The court sentenced him to 11 years and 1 day of imprisonment to be served in a special regime correctional colony.
