Part of the residential complex "Nova Kuznechikha" is without water due to an accident.

      On April 26, 2026, at 16:20, incidents occurred in the residential complex "Nova Kuznechikha" in Nizhny Novgorod due to an accident on the water supply line. Local residents reported this in the community "JK Kuznechikha city" on "VK". The incident happened in the morning near house No. 5 on Novokuznechikinskaya Street. As a result of the damage, a small fountain appeared on the surface, and water spilled onto the roadway. Due to the incident, residents of 12 apartment buildings and the second building of school No. 188 were left without cold water supply. The Nizhny Novgorod city hall confirmed the accident and clarified that the identified leak occurred on a line that has not been transferred to the balance of the resource supplying organization. Less than an hour after residents' reports, specialists from Vodokanal were working at the site. The leak was localized, and water supply to most houses was restored. According to the city administration, the decision to carry out repair work will be made by the owner of the networks.
