      A 24-year-old resident of Sarov became a victim of scammers who were selling a trailer online. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The young man found an advertisement on social media for the sale of a gray trailer from 2024. The seller offered to pick up the item for 36,000 rubles. The Sarov resident contacted the author of the ad and agreed to purchase the trailer – payment was required immediately by transferring money to the specified account.

      The young man complied with the seller's demand; however, the seller then stopped responding. Realizing he had become a victim of fraudsters, the Sarov resident contacted the police. A criminal case of fraud has been initiated. Recently, we reported on a postman from Arzamas who transferred 6.7 million rubles to "safe accounts."
