Nizhny Novgorod companies invited to Supplier Day with "Auchan"

      Nizhny Novgorod small and medium enterprises will be able to participate in the Supplier Day in the "Retail" direction, which will take place on May 15, 2026. The potential customer will be the retail chain "Auchan." The event is organized by the regional center "My Business" in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." As noted by the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov, cooperative ties within the region allow for the reduction of logistics chains and an increase in the share of local goods in stores. According to him, the meeting with the retail chain "Auchan" will be the second in the "Retail" direction this year and will allow producers to expand business contacts and discuss cooperation options. The company plans to purchase food and non-food products from local producers. Priority will be given to producers of cheeses, milk, and dairy products, including farm products, as well as sausages, bread, and confectionery. B2B and B2G negotiations, a pitch session, and product presentations will be organized for participants. Representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and business support infrastructure experts will also speak at the event, discussing existing state support measures. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs included in the SME register and registered in the Nizhny Novgorod Region are invited to participate. The Supplier Day will take place on May 15 at 11:00 at the following address: Nizhny Novgorod, Akademika Sakharova St., 4, Technopark "Ankudinovka" (Volga Hall, 1st floor). To participate, it is necessary to fill out a questionnaire on the "My Business 52" portal or submit an application at the "My Business" center. In 2026, four Supplier Days have already been held in the region—for the retail chains "Detsky Mir" and "Magnit," the Department of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Administration, and the hypermarket "Lemana PRO." A total of 318 Nizhny Novgorod SMEs participated in them. Four more meetings with companies from the trade, transport services, and nuclear industries are planned before the end of the year.
