      The event took place as part of the United Russia party project "Russian Village." In the Gorodets municipal district, the results of the dairy industry were summarized. In a solemn atmosphere, 46 workers and 3 enterprises of the agro-industrial complex were awarded. Honorary titles and diplomas were received by the leaders who achieved record milk productivity — over 9000 kg of milk from a single Holstein and black-spotted cow. Operators of machine milking who showed the highest yield on a forage cow in their farms were also recognized. "In recent years, the livestock sector has shown steady growth. Every year we rename the dairy workers' gathering: we had eight-thousanders, now we have nine-thousanders — we are already looking beyond ten thousand. There is a resource for further growth. But the main result is satisfied consumers all over Russia. "Gorodets milk" is known in many corners of the country, people come to us to try it. This is the highest appreciation of the work of livestock breeders and machine milking operators. I wish all workers in the industry new successes and well-being for their families," noted the head of the Gorodets municipal district, secretary of the local branch of the United Russia party, Alexander Mudrov. For many years, milk production in the Gorodets municipal district has been profitable. In 2025, from the sale of milk, a profit of 145.6 million rubles was obtained (in 2024 – 138 million rubles), and revenue amounted to 816.5 million rubles (in 2024 – 629.8 million rubles). With a production cost of 1 kg of milk at 36 rubles 23 kopecks, the selling price is 51 rubles 25 kopecks. The profitability was 21.7% (in 2024 - 12.2%). According to the results of 2025, agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) households in the Gorodets municipal district produced 17.9 thousand tons of milk, which is 502 tons more than last year. "We see a constant increase in milk yields. This is facilitated by developing technologies that increase indicators. But these technologies require new personnel. Measures to support young specialists are in place: one-time payments, monthly bonuses, assistance in improving housing quality. Competition with other sectors is high, but for those who want to develop their small homeland, support is available. We hope this will help with the employment of young people and with productivity growth. Despite the fact that everything is gradually leading to automation and robotization, without the caring hands of skilled specialists, this work cannot be done. It is thanks to their labor that the livestock industry in the Gorodets district will continue to develop and increase indicators," emphasized Vladimir Bespalov, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The leaders in milk yields were named the best farms in the Gorodets district:

      • Breeding farm of the collective farm named after Kuibyshev — 5722 tons.

      • Breeding reproducer of the collective farm "Krasny Mayak" — 3859 tons.

      • Breeding reproducer of JSC "Mir" Yashchenko A.V. and company — 3285 tons.

      The average yield per forage cow in the district in 2025 was 8103 kg, which is 201 kg more than the previous year's figure. The leaders in yield per forage cow were the teams:

      1. JSC "Mir" Yashchenko A.V. and company — 9662 kg.

      2. Collective farm named after Kuibyshev — 9537 kg.

      3. LLC "Uzolskie Klyuchi" — 8266 kg.

      The highest yields per forage cow were achieved by operators from the breeding reproducer JSC "Mir" Yashchenko A.V. and company:

      • The team of Yulia Cherkasova and Maria Guseva: 10,657 kg.

      • The team of Lyudmila Osipova and Ekaterina Berezina: 10,494 kg.

      • The team of Natalia Smirnova and Pavel Savosin: 10,146 kg.

      • The team of Sergey Berezin and Mikhail Shutov: 9,890 kg.

      • The team of Sergey Kharchenko: 9,106 kg.

      High results were also shown by the workers of the breeding farm of the collective farm named after Kuibyshev:

      • The team of Nina Kovshina (6 people): 9,869 kg.

      • The team of Natalia Lyapina: 9,624 kg.

      • The team of Irina Emelina: 9,123 kg.

      "I came to the profession, you could say, from childhood — I helped my mother, and when I grew up, I decided to choose the same path. Our work, by today's standards, is rare and not easy. The main thing in it is to love cows, take care of them, feed them, and communicate with them just like with people. We manage to maintain a stable 9,600 kilograms of milk per forage cow, but we plan to work further and increase yields. 10,000 is realistic; our neighbors have succeeded, so we can too. It is nice that our achievements are noticed, that attention is paid to the profession, and that it is treated with gratitude. This motivates us to continue our work and achieve new records," shared the machine milking operator of the collective farm named after Kuibyshev, Evgeny Parubov.
