Employees of Nizhny Novgorod enterprises are invited to participate in the competition "Lean Manufacturing Trainer - 2026."
April 24, 2026 13:49 Economy Employees of Nizhny Novgorod enterprises participating in the federal project "Labor Productivity" can take part in the V federal competition "Lean Production Trainer-2026 Apply! Teach! Improve!". The training is organized as part of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy".
"The federal project 'Labor Productivity' provides for the training of internal trainers. They are trained by specialists from regional and federal competence centers at production sites. Subsequently, they pass on the knowledge gained to the company's employees, teaching them the principles of lean production. To enhance the qualifications of such employees, the FCC is holding the competition 'Lean Production Trainer – 2026'. Participation will allow Nizhny Novgorod residents to make a name for themselves in the expert community, exchange experiences with colleagues, and plan steps for professional development," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Participants in the competition will be able to demonstrate their competencies in three nominations: "Lean Production Trainer," "Lean Production Training System," and "Lean Production Trainer of the Regional Competence Center and Industry Competence Center." The jury will evaluate mastery of lean production tools, expertise, communication skills, a systematic approach to training, and the practicality of proposed solutions.
"We have a strategic goal – to turn internal trainers of enterprises and lean production instructors into a driving force for cultural transformation in industrial enterprises, in social sphere organizations, and in society as a whole. This year, special attention will be paid to expanding the reach of the federal project 'Labor Productivity' and involving both the social sphere and entire industries, which is why we have provided a separate nomination in which representatives of teams from Industry Competence Centers can participate. Overall, we invite all trainers and instructors of lean production to participate – you can expect interesting complex tasks and intellectual pleasure from solving these challenges," noted Alexander Romashkin, the competition organizer and head of the trainer training department at the FCC.
