The trial launch of the fountains has been postponed in Nizhny Novgorod.

      April 22, 2026 18:09 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, the timelines for the trial launch of the city fountains have been changed. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the city hall's beautification department. The fountains are planned to be put into operation starting May 1. In total, there are 25 municipal fountains in the capital of the Volga region, which are expected to start working from that day. Currently, work is ongoing in the city to decommission the fountains after winter. Specialists have already removed the wooden protective coverings, are installing the necessary equipment, checking the pumping and electrical systems, and conducting commissioning activities. The trial activations are now scheduled for April 27. Previously, the test launch was planned for April 25.
