      April 22, 2026 14:46 Incidents A criminal case has been opened due to the injury of a worker in Nizhny Novgorod, reported the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod region. The incident occurred in April while performing work on a hydraulic press. The blacksmith-stamper injured his hand. His health was severely harmed. The case was initiated under part 1 of article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of labor protection requirements." Investigators are clarifying the circumstances of the incident. Those responsible for the worker's injury will be legally assessed. It was previously reported that a 37-year-old roofer died in Nizhny Novgorod. A worker was injured after falling from construction scaffolding at the Shatkovskaya Central District Hospital.
