      In 2020, the man won the elections representing the "Party of Growth," receiving 73% of the votes. After being elected, he dealt with tax and tariff policy issues in the area. According to local residents, the deputy held receptions for citizens at a kindergarten and participated in council meetings.

      In 2023, he organized an illegal mining farm, illegally connecting to the power grid. The damage from the stolen electricity amounted to nearly 30 million rubles. A year later, the scheme was uncovered: the farm was shut down, and a criminal case was initiated against the deputy.

      Despite this, in 2025 he was again allowed to participate in the elections for the Council of Deputies of the Bor district, but he was unable to be re-elected.

      The proceedings in the Bor District Court were held in closed session, as the defendant was found to be insane. For this reason, the name and surname of the individual are not disclosed.

      "The court ruled to release him from criminal liability for the act committed in a state of insanity, qualified as causing property damage by deception on a particularly large scale. The court also ordered compulsory outpatient treatment by a psychiatrist," the television program stated.
