Residents of Dzerzhinsk with disabilities can submit applications to participate in a creative competition.

      The team of the "Vera" Disabled Club at the "Sputnik" Youth Center invites those interested to participate in the city creative festival for children and youth with disabilities "Zhuravushka," which will take place on April 28 at: Galkina Street, 13. The goal of the organizers is to support creatively gifted individuals with disabilities. By providing them with the opportunity to showcase their talents, the club staff draws the attention of city residents to the creative activities of children and youth with disabilities, facilitating their socialization and adaptation. Participants can try their skills both individually and as part of a team. The following nominations are offered: vocal performance – folk, academic, pop, sign language singing; choreography – pop, contemporary, folk, or other; artistic reading, original genre, playing musical instruments, decorative and applied creativity – drawings, crafts from natural materials, appliqués, ceramics, and others. "The most important thing about our festival is that it is indeed a festival, not a competition where abilities are compared, nor a demonstration performance. The original genre was created for those who really want to showcase their talents but find it difficult due to their circumstances. In this case, the participant demonstrates what they can do. This nomination also includes non-standard performances – for example, performances by the theater studio 'Blick' or circus acts," explains Svetlana Torchinskaya, head of the adaptive-inclusive department of the "Vera" Disabled Club at the "Sputnik" Youth Center. For those living outside of Dzerzhinsk, an online format has been provided, introduced by the organizers last year. According to Svetlana Anatolyevna, last year, participants from the Gorbatov Special Boarding School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children and clients of the PNI "Golubaya Oka" were able to take part in the festival.
