Nizhny Novgorod residents sent 20 tons of humanitarian aid to Dagestan.

      Volunteers of Victory from the Nizhny Novgorod region sent 20 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of Dagestan affected by the flooding. Nizhny Novgorod volunteers, public activists, entrepreneurs, and government officials participated in preparing the cargo. The regional public organization "Dagestan Community" was the organizer of the shipment. The cargo included drinking water, food products, clothing, dishes, bedding, household goods, and other essential items. Part of the aid was collected by Volunteers of Victory and the residents of the city together with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Public Self-Governance." The Rosreestr Office for the Nizhny Novgorod region contributed to forming the batch of humanitarian aid. Deputy Head Maxim Paikov initiated the purchase of 5 tons of drinking water. A Nizhny Novgorod commercial company provided bottling and delivery of water to the collection point. A Dzerzhinsk manufacturing company donated 1 ton of cleaning products, with delivery organized by the unified military-patriotic center "Avangard." The team of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Mercy" collected and delivered long-shelf-life food products. The collection of aid for the victims continues at two points in Nizhny Novgorod: at 1 Dolzhanskaya Street (daily from 10:00 to 18:00) and at 19 Panina Street. The list of necessary humanitarian aid includes food products, hygiene items, medications, new clothing and footwear, household goods, dishes, and children's toys.
