This was stated in an interview with RBC by Olga Skorobogatova, the first deputy president-chairman of the board of VTB. "The population of Russia is about 150 million people. It is well advanced in terms of finance and digital services. Competition in both the banking and financial services market and the digital services market is fierce. If we do not enter into open partnerships, if we do not find and provide value for the customer, then in a very short horizon, the company or organization will lose. I believe we are very close to the moment when banks will follow the path of 'uberization.' That is, when, for example, due to large partnership offers, a bank can offer its clients to pay not only with a VTB card but also with another card," she said. According to her, the emergence of such projects in the market is possible as early as 2027. This could be a solution based on artificial intelligence with digital logic, where, upon request, the client will receive not just a specific offer from the bank or marketplace, but the best one for them. "When providing the best offer for the client, it does not matter who the source of this offer is – you say, I want a yellow jacket with such buttons, and you should have a solution that tells you: look, here they are, all the yellow jackets that are sold in this country on different platforms, choose the best for yourself.
