Traffic has been restored on the temporary road Semenov – Khakhaly – Feofanika.

      On April 21, 2026, at 11:41 AM, Society In the Semenovsky district, traffic has been fully opened on the temporary road Semenov – Khakhaly – Feofanikha. This was reported by the Main Department of Automobile Roads of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. It was closed after the river Kerzhenets flooded the road and washed away a section due to the flood. About 300 tons of soil and approximately 150 tons of sand were required to restore the embankment. After that, workers laid a layer of geotextile and covered it with gravel of various fractions. As explained by the GUAD, the temporary road is used during the reconstruction of the emergency bridge. Currently, preparations are underway for a package of documents to include the facility in the state program and obtain funding. At the same time, competitive documentation is being prepared to determine the contractor who will handle the design and construction and installation works in the format of a "turnkey" state contract.
