The driver beat the "Samokat" courier after the accident in Nizhny Novgorod.

      April 21, 2026 16:16 Incidents The State Labor Inspectorate for the Nizhny Novgorod Region is investigating the circumstances of an industrial accident involving a courier after a traffic accident. This was reported by the press service of the supervisory authority.

      According to preliminary data, the incident occurred on April 20 on Hero Vasilyev Street in the Avtozavodsky District of the regional center. There, a passenger car collided with an electric bicycle. After the accident, the driver of the car, instead of helping the injured, attacked him.

      The victim turned out to be a 19-year-old courier from the "Samokat" service. He sustained head injuries and went to the hospital. Medics diagnosed him with a closed traumatic brain injury and a concussion.

      Labor inspection specialists are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. A medical report on the severity of the injuries is expected, as well as an official notification of the industrial accident.

      Earlier, there were reports of an attack on a private ambulance employee in Nizhny Novgorod. She was hit on the head while on a call.
