The salary of Nizhny Novgorod welders in 2026 increased to 186 thousand rubles.

      On April 18, 2026, at 12:02, Society Experts from Avito Jobs analyzed the dynamics of average salaries in the construction industry of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the first quarter of 2026 and named the highest-paying professions in this sector.

      Welders have become the highest-paid specialists in construction. On average, employers offered them 186,706 rubles per month, which is 49% more compared to last year. Welders play a key role on construction sites, performing work with metal structures, pipelines, building frames, and other elements. Such vacancies usually require a relevant certification, experience with various types of welding, and the ability to read technical documentation.

      In second place in terms of salary level are tile setters. In the first quarter of this year, their average salary was 176,250 rubles per month, which is 64% higher than last year. Employers typically look for candidates with experience in tile work, knowledge of laying technologies, and skills in working with tile cutting equipment.

      Completing the top three are installers. In the first quarter of 2026, they were offered an average of 123,260 rubles per month, which is 15% more than a year earlier. Installers are involved in the assembly and installation of metal structures, equipment, and engineering systems on construction sites. Such vacancies often require experience in installation work, the ability to read blueprints, and permission to work at heights.

      It is important to note that the presented data on average salaries are averaged values for specialists with 1 to 3 years of experience. These figures reflect the salary ranges indicated by employers in job descriptions. Most offers imply a rotational work method, so the final earnings may vary depending on the region, bonuses, and the number of shifts worked.
