      April 17, 2026 11:20 Incidents A car burned to the ground as a result of a traffic accident on the 358 km mark of the M-7 highway in the Volodarsky district, reported the regional emergency management agency. Firefighters who arrived at the scene saw the car fully engulfed in flames, as well as part of the pedestrian crossing and dry grass.

      The driver and his passenger sustained minor injuries. They refused to go to the hospital. Earlier, it was reported that four grass fires occurred in the Nizhny Novgorod region within a day.
