Beeline has accelerated the operation of popular Russian video services.

April 17, 2026 10:41 Society Beeline has increased capacity and improved delivery routes for popular domestic video services: Rutube, VK, "KinoPoisk," "Ivi," Okko, and others. Since the beginning of 2026, connection volumes have grown to 5.5 Tbps, compared to 4 Tbps for the entire previous year.

These volumes have been distributed among the services proportionally to their demand — the main share went to the most visited platforms with heavy video content. Now they operate faster and with better quality on the operator's network.

All of this has been made possible by the accelerated deployment of network infrastructure and proactive expansion of connection bandwidth to accommodate the growing volumes of domestic media content. In the context of increasing traffic volumes and a general restructuring of content, Beeline continues to invest in expanding infrastructure, direct connections, and enhancing the network's resilience to external constraints — so that Russian content remains accessible at high speeds for millions of users.

Sergey Bykov, Vice President for Operator Business at Beeline:

"Beeline is focusing on developing the bandwidth of its own network and connections with resource holders. We care about our customers and do everything to ensure that the quality of access to Russian content does not degrade, but rather improves. Our key priority is network resilience and reliability: even under peak loads or emergency situations, the connection must remain stable, and services must be accessible. We bring content closer to the customer by reducing distances and eliminating intermediaries."
