      Almost 850 memorial sites and military burials will be put in order in the Nizhny Novgorod region by the end of spring. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

      The annual beautification campaign started on April 16.

      The central venue was the military memorial at the "Maryina Rosha" cemetery. About 200 volunteers participated in the beautification efforts. The volunteers tidied up the memorial complex and mass graves. "In the context of the special military operation, we are not only arranging military burials of participants in the Great Patriotic War but also memorial sites related to the heroes of local conflicts," said Acting Executive Director of the "Volunteers of Victory" movement Artemiy Kiselev.
