The acceptance of applications for the 17th PFCI competition has begun.

      The Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives announced on April 15, 2026, the start of the application process for a new, 17th grant competition. Projects can be submitted until June 30 inclusive on the website fondkulturalnykhinitiativ.rf. The implementation of the initiatives that receive support will begin in January 2027. Non-governmental NGOs, commercial and municipal organizations, as well as individual entrepreneurs can participate in the competition. There are 12 thematic areas: "Unity with the Fate of Russia," "Multinational People," "We Are Together," "Nation of Creators," "Moral Guidelines," "Strong Family," "Our Strength is in Truth," "On Guard of the Fatherland," "Young Leaders," "Country of Opportunities," "Cultural Code," "Place of Power." The application must indicate which of the 17 traditional spiritual and moral values corresponds to the project. As noted by the General Director of the PFCI, Roman Karmanov, the fund supports initiatives aimed at developing the cultural life of the country and forming socially significant values. Methodological recommendations for creating a sociocultural project and budget, a checklist, educational webinars, and a series of podcasts have been prepared for applicants.       Consultations can be obtained at one of the 35 partner project offices of the PFCI in 34 regions of the country. The Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives was established at the suggestion of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, announced on April 21, 2021, during his address to the Federal Assembly. The fund operates on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 17, 2021, No. 287 "On the Creation of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives." Supported projects are implemented in all 89 regions of the country. A total of 11,027 creative projects have received grant support amounting to 45.45 billion rubles.
