Due to the worsening weather, the energy company "Nizhnevenergo" has switched to an increased readiness mode and intensified control over the electricity supply to consumers, the company's press service reported.
A total of 137 teams — 609 specialists and 313 units of special equipment — are ready to address the consequences of the bad weather.
Particular attention is being paid to socially significant and infrastructure facilities. For them, 202 backup power sources with a total capacity of about 4.29 MW have been prepared if necessary.
An operational headquarters is functioning in the branch. Specialists are exchanging information with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and executive authorities, as well as conducting constant monitoring of the weather situation.
Residents are reminded: if they discover downed power lines, they should not approach them. Such cases should be reported immediately to the energy company or the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Reports of power supply disruptions and damage to energy facilities can be made via the hotline "Bright Line" at 8-800-220-0-220 (short number 220, free and available 24/7), as well as through the company's official website and the mobile app "There is Light!". Applications submitted through electronic services are promptly processed.
