The Nizhny Novgorod project has been awarded the national prize "Our Contribution."

      On April 14, 2026, at 16:25, the Sports Project from the Nizhny Novgorod region "Adaptive Climbing - a new systematic solution in adaptive physical culture and rehabilitation for people with disabilities" received the national award "Our Contribution" and the status of "Partner of National Projects of Russia."

      The national award "Our Contribution" is the first award in Russia that evaluates the contribution of businesses and non-profit organizations to achieving national goals and implementing the tasks of national projects.

      The "Adaptive Climbing" project is implemented by the Climbing Federation of the Nizhny Novgorod region (FSNO) in support of the state program "Sport of Russia." The classes help develop physical and cognitive abilities, strengthen muscles, and improve coordination. The program includes not only training but also scientific work, training specialists, and creating competitive practices. Classes are held twice a week at the largest center for adaptive physical culture in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The FSNO project is supported by medical, educational, and sports organizations, as well as regional authorities. It was presented at the World Youth Festival in Sochi. Scientific research within the project formed the basis of a doctoral dissertation, and the program itself is certified by NIRO.

      A total of 792 applications were submitted for participation in the "Our Contribution" award from all regions of the country. In the Volga Federal District, the top 5 regions by the number of implemented projects was led by the Nizhny Novgorod region, which presented 175 projects. At the same time, the results of the current season of the award showed a high interest from entrepreneurs and the non-profit sector in social activities in areas such as infrastructure for living, data economy, workforce, tourism, and an effective and competitive economy.

      The award ceremony for the winners took place at the coordination center of the Government of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, representatives of federal executive authorities, business associations, and public organizations.
