The violation was established by specialists from the Nizhny Novgorod testing laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIZh", reported the interregional office of the Rosselkhoznadzor. The samples were tested on April 10 as part of state food monitoring. As a result of the inspection, dinitrocarbanilide was found in the product. The presence of this substance means that the meat product does not meet the requirements of the technical regulation of the Customs Union "On the safety of food products." Dinitrocarbanilide belongs to antibiotics and is used in veterinary medicine to treat animals for bacterial infections. Its presence in food products can pose a potential danger to human health. Consuming food with residual amounts of such substances can cause allergic reactions, including skin rashes, itching, and swelling. In some cases, more severe consequences are possible. Furthermore, prolonged intake of antibiotics into the body increases the burden on the liver and kidneys and contributes to the development of resistance of microorganisms to antibacterial drugs.
