A migrant was convicted for attacking a bus in Verkhniye Pechery.

      On April 15, 2026, at 10:47, Incidents: A migrant who attacked a bus in Verkhniye Pechery was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor, the press service of the regional court reported.

      The incident occurred on October 28, 2025. The man, being in a state of alcohol intoxication, caused a disturbance on the bus at the "Lopatina Street" stop. For a trivial reason, he approached the driver and punched him in the face. Then, after exiting the cabin, he shouted obscenities and damaged the bus with a knife, as well as broke a window in it. A criminal case was initiated regarding the incident. The man was charged with hooliganism using objects as weapons.

      He fully admitted his guilt in committing the crime, expressed remorse, and apologized.

      The Nizhny Novgorod District Court sentenced him to 1 year and 6 months of forced labor with 10% of his earnings withheld for the state. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.

      It was previously reported that an unknown person shot at a car on Belinka in Nizhny Novgorod.
