      As part of the XXII annual conference of the "RADOR" Association, held in the Nizhny Novgorod region, demonstration road works were organized. Contractors and specialists from the Main Directorate of Automobile Roads showcased to the participants the technologies of pothole repair using recycling methods, crack sealing, and the installation of noise barriers. Special attention was paid to the durability of surfaces and innovative repair methods. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, one of the key directions is the use of advanced technologies: improving construction processes and implementing the most progressive solutions. During the technical tour, conference participants also familiarized themselves with the progress of the construction of the duplicate of Gagarin Avenue. "The venue for the conference - Nizhny Novgorod region - was chosen not by chance. It is among the leaders in the implementation of the national project 'Infrastructure for Life.' The competition among regions is quite high, and it is impossible to maintain these positions without effort. The goal of the field part of the conference is to provide association members with the opportunity to share experiences and study modern developments," emphasized Igor Starygin, General Director of the "RADOR" Association. He also noted that in recent years, 490 new regulatory technical documents have been adopted in the industry, allowing for rapid practice development and the application of modern solutions in the repair and construction of roads and artificial structures. It is also worth noting that the national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The structure of the new national project includes 12 federal projects. Of these, five are being implemented by the Ministry of Transport of Russia: "Development of the Federal Network," "Regional and Local Road Network," "General System Measures for the Development of Road Economy," "Development of Public Transport," and "Development of Infrastructure for the Central Transport Hub." The activities of the national project are aimed at improving the condition of highways and roads in the regions of the country and significantly increasing road safety.
