Metro builders are forming the framework of the station complex in Freedom Square.

      On April 10, 2026, at 11:13, the Society of Metro Builders began forming the framework of the station complex in Freedom Square in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported in the Telegram channel "Metro NN."

      Work is being carried out in the station's pit at a depth of ten meters near the completed tunnels in the Varvarka area. Previously, reinforced frames were installed there, and now they are engaged in the installation of monolithic structures for the first section.

      To construct all the reinforced concrete structures in this section of work, over 580 cubic meters of concrete need to be laid. The metro builders have already poured the "first concrete," laying 11 cubic meters. As soon as it sets, the workers will continue to install walls and ceilings.

      It was previously reported that the middle level of the "Sennaya" metro station has begun to be poured. We also mentioned that 75% of the work has been completed in the starting pit of the metro on Gorky Street.

      Let us remind you that the construction of two new metro stations in Nizhny Novgorod will be completed by August 2027.
