A resident of Dzerzhinsk died in a fire in a nine-story building.

      On April 10, 2026, at 11:22, Incidents: A woman died in a fire in Dzerzhinsk, reported the regional emergency management agency.

      On the afternoon of April 9, an apartment caught fire in a 9-story building on Khimikov Boulevard. By the time firefighters arrived, the stairwell was filled with smoke.

      Rescuers evacuated 13 people, four of whom were children. The fire was extinguished in two "squares."

      One person could not be saved. The identity of the deceased is being established. The causes of the fire are being investigated by the emergency management agency's investigators.

      It was previously reported that the deaths of two people in a fire in the Lenin district resulted in a criminal case.
