In Russia, the impossibility of unlinking the MAX messenger from the "Gosuslugi" account has been refuted.

      April 8, 2026 19:39 Society Messages have appeared on Telegram channels claiming that the account of the messenger MAX, verified through "Gosuslugi," allegedly cannot be unlinked from this service. It was asserted that after linking to "Gosuslugi," access to the account can only be obtained through this verification method, while other methods, including SMS login, are unavailable. However, this claim is not true, as found by 360.ru. All messages circulating on social media about such problems are based on the statement of a single user who simply did not understand the connection options. In fact, MAX messenger users can choose any convenient verification method, including SMS login or a special application with an electronic key. Verification through biometrics or using a one-time code generated by the application is also available. If a user wants to change the login confirmation method, they can do so in their account settings.
