      Parents of future students of the MBOU "Secondary School named after A. O. Molev" in Dzerzhinsk were given the opportunity to visit the new educational institution. Currently, final testing of educational systems and equipment is being conducted here, and furniture is being installed. The visit was organized by the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, which acted as the customer and general contractor, together with the Dzerzhinsk administration. City Duma deputies of Dzerzhinsk also participated in the event. Parents and representatives of the authorities inspected the surrounding area and the school premises themselves. The construction of the school was carried out within the framework of a concession agreement concluded between the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Regional Development Corporation. In addition, the Development Corporation acted as the general contractor, as the previous organization was unable to fulfill its obligations. "Today, the parents of future students were able to see that the construction work at the school is completed. All necessary equipment for the educational process has also already been delivered to the institution," said Igor Ishchenko, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The total area of the school is 23.8 thousand square meters. The building has 44 classrooms, large and small sports halls, an assembly hall, a cafeteria, a medical office, and a library. The adjacent territory is equipped with physical education and sports zones, as well as playgrounds for games and recreation. Next to the school is a swimming pool with two tanks - for swimming and swimming lessons. The school and pool buildings are connected by a warm transition. Special attention was also paid to creating an accessible environment: there are ramps at the entrances, the buildings are equipped with elevators, and separate restrooms for people with limited mobility are available on each floor. "We have been monitoring the construction of the school from the very beginning. Our emotions have shifted from disappointment to complete delight. Today we inspected most of the premises and confirmed that the school is equipped to the most modern standards. We are extremely grateful to the builders for considering the smallest details. I have no doubt that children will go to the new school with great enthusiasm," emphasized Oksana Polyakova, the mother of a future student of the A. O. Molev school. According to the Dzerzhinsk administration, the educational process at the school is planned to begin on September 1, 2026. "I was glad to hear today from parents a high assessment of the new school. For Dzerzhinsk, this is not just a new social facility, it is a point of attraction. I thank the governor and the regional government for their colossal support and constant assistance at all levels, the Development Corporation for taking on obligations during a critical period, for building a school for Dzerzhinsk. Thank you to everyone who did not remain on the sidelines. And, first of all, to the parents for their patience, active position, and constant oversight," said the head of the city, Mikhail Klinkov.
