April 6, 2026 18:08 Incidents The state prosecutor requested a sentence of 13 years in prison for the former city manager of Nizhny Novgorod, Oleg Kondrashov, reports "Ъ-Privolzhye". The prosecutor's office also insists on a fine of 510 million rubles and proposes to prohibit the former official from holding positions in government bodies and local self-government for 10 years. Separately, the prosecution demands to recover from Kondrashov the amount of the alleged bribe — 17 million rubles. These funds are planned to be used to offset property previously seized for 68 million rubles. Recall that, according to the investigation, in 2012-2013, Kondrashov and his deputy Vladimir Privalov received 17 million rubles through intermediaries for assisting the representative of LLC "Continental," Mamuka Losaberidze, in developing the funeral business.
