The music school of the city of Kstovo has become a center of attraction for virtuoso pianists in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Last Saturday, April 4, the VII regional competition of young pianists "Strawberry Mosaic" took place at the Kstovo Music School with the support of the Department of Culture and the Educational and Methodological Center for Artistic Education of Nizhny Novgorod. According to the district administration, the event brought together more than 50 students from children's music schools and art schools in Nizhny Novgorod, Dzerzhinsk, Kstovo, Balakhna, Zavolzhye, Pavlovo, Sarov, Gorodets, Vyksa, and other settlements in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Young pianists aged 6 to 15 gathered in a large concert hall to demonstrate true virtuosity and refined technique to a professional jury in the categories of "Solo Performance" and "Ensemble." Works by talented composers such as Sergei Prokofiev, Johann Sebastian Bach, Stefan Geller, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and Dmitri Shostakovich were performed. The competition jury evaluated the quality of performance, artistry, as well as the creative individuality and artistic interpretation of the participants. "It is a great pleasure to see young students so immersed in the culture of classical music. The kids here were not just memorizing pieces – they were trying to feel them, and it shows. I am very glad that even now, new generations have a yearning for beauty," shared the thoughts of the jury chair Anastasia Bogdanovich. With best wishes for further success, the organizers presented memorable gifts and honorary diplomas to the winners, laureates, and diploma holders of the competition.
