The GUAD has begun instrumental diagnostics of the warranty sections of roads repaired in the region under the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

      Specialists from the Main Directorate of Automobile Roads of the Nizhny Novgorod Region have begun the annual spring inspection of road sections that are under warranty after repairs as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." The diagnostics are conducted using modern instrumental equipment that allows for accurate data on the condition of the road surface, shoulders, and artificial structures. As of today, the Main Directorate of Automobile Roads has 720 sections of automobile roads under warranty, with a total length of 3,600 km. Last year, 745 km of roads were brought to regulatory condition. "The warranty for work completed under the national project ranges from three to five years, so contractors are economically motivated to responsibly approach the execution of government contracts and carry out repairs of high quality. In the event of hidden defects being discovered during the warranty period, their elimination is carried out entirely at the expense of the contractor. The Main Directorate of Automobile Roads monitors contractors at all stages, including laboratory analysis of asphalt concrete mixtures, checking compliance with technology during work execution, final measurements during acceptance, as well as monitoring the operational condition of roads during the warranty period," said Leonid Samukhin, director of the State Institution of Nizhny Novgorod "Main Directorate of Automobile Roads." Additionally, he noted that residents of settlements located near repaired roads actively participate in monitoring their condition. They observe the roadway, bus stops, road signs, and immediately report any suspicions regarding quality to local authorities and the Main Directorate of Automobile Roads through the feedback platform "Public Services. We Solve Together" and social networks. All defects identified during the spring diagnostics that fall under warranty obligations will be recorded in acts. Contractors will be sent orders specifying deadlines for rectification. It is planned that all necessary work will be completed by June 1.

      Let us remind you that the national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, with the aim of providing citizens with modern infrastructure. The national project consists of 12 federal projects, which are partly a continuation of previously implemented national projects "Safe Quality Roads," "Housing and Urban Environment," and state programs of the Russian Federation. They are aimed at the development of road construction, housing and communal services, ensuring road safety, and developing public passenger transport.
