      Three low-water bridges and twenty-eight adjacent territories have gone underwater due to the arrival of spring flooding, reports "vremyan.ru".

      The rise in water levels in the rivers has led to the closure of traffic on the crossings over the Pyana near the villages of Nikolskoye and Sobolevo in the Gagin district. Similar consequences are observed on the Rudiya River, where the route between Diveevo Usad and the village of Natalinka in the Pochinkovsky district is flooded. In addition, the flood has affected ten sites in Uren and eighteen yards in the village of Chernukha, located in the Arzamas district. "As a result of the flood, there are no casualties or injured people, and the evacuation of residents to temporary accommodation points is currently not required. A round-the-clock collection and monitoring of information has been organized, and daily control is being conducted over the work of operational groups of municipal entities to monitor the flood situation," says the press service of the regional emergency management agency. Currently, specialists are monitoring the situation in nine municipalities, where nine low-water bridges, one section of the road, and forty adjacent territories remain flooded.

      Let us remind you that on March 30, 2026, in the Nizhny Novgorod region, one low-water automobile bridge over the Kudma River in the Kstovo district was flooded due to the flood. At that time, residential houses were not in the flood zone, there were no casualties or injuries, and no evacuation of people was carried out.
