      The Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has ruled to satisfy the claim of the Interregional Office of Rosprirodnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Republic of Mordovia for the recovery of debts from LLC "Sukhobezvodinskoe Housing and Utilities" for payments for negative impact on the environment (NVOС). The housing and utilities enterprise, operating wastewater treatment facilities in the Semyonovsky District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, failed to pay more than 2.8 million rubles into the budget system of the Russian Federation for the discharge of pollutants. As established by Rosprirodnadzor specialists, for ten months from the beginning of 2024, the enterprise operated without a valid permit document - the Declaration on Environmental Impact. During this time, it carried out excess discharges of pollutants. The office prepared a control act and sent a demand for recalculation and additional payment for NVOС, which the legal entity did not voluntarily comply with. As a result, the recovery was continued in court, which supported the position of the supervisory authority. LLC "Sukhobezvodinskoe Housing and Utilities" is obliged to reimburse not only the entire amount of the debt but also penalties for late payment. In total - more than 3.3 million rubles.
