Special attention is paid to facilities landscaped under the federal program 'Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment' of the national project 'Infrastructure for Life',” noted the head of the Kstovo district administration Ivan Ulanov. Road and utility services continue their active work: they are cleaning curb strips, removing sand left over from winter. By the end of the week, cleanup activities will take place in the 2nd and 3rd microdistricts, on Rachkov Avenue, in the territory of old Kstovo, as well as in public spaces. Earlier, the city head Yuri Shalabaev reported that he held a large meeting with the heads of districts and road workers. “We discussed the urgent issue - bringing the city in order after the snowiest winter in the history of meteorological observations. The equipment is being re-equipped 'for summer', workers are cleaning roads, curb strips, removing garbage that has surfaced from under the snow, and starting to wash fences and bus stops. Soon we will begin to wash the roadway, including with shampoo. And the traditional month of landscaping for our city will be held from April 5 to May 15. We are still determining the date for the citywide cleanup. We expect more than 20,000 Nizhny Novgorod residents to participate,” the mayor said.
