A workshop on AI for the Federal Tax Service was held in Nizhny Novgorod.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, a workshop organized by the Russian society "Knowledge" on the application of artificial intelligence technologies in professional activities took place at the Academy of the Federal Tax Service LAB. The lecturer was Oleg Panin, the founder and CEO of Center-Game. The event of the "Knowledge.State" project was held in person with simultaneous online connection. About 1,000 employees of the tax service participated. They worked on computers and completed tasks in real-time.

      Participants were offered about ten tasks with ready-made prompts for digital assistants and twenty various situational tasks covering work topics and types of tasks. According to Oleg Panin, despite the widespread discussion of artificial intelligence, only 20% of the population actively uses AI at work, while 80% are at the stage of getting acquainted with the technology. He emphasized that AI is an assistant, and the responsibility for the result remains with the person.

      The introductory block was dedicated to the levels of AI automation development—from basic algorithms to neural networks with deep learning models, personal assistants, autonomous agents, and multi-agent systems. Participants received methodological recommendations with a list of tools and tested services for working with text and data analysis, creating presentations, and personal assistants. The tasks were developed considering the specifics of the tax service's activities. Employees practiced analyzing legislation by preparing brief summaries of new laws and bills, creating working documents and reports using AI tools, as well as developing a personal assistant for automatic preparation of announcements on social media.

      Oleg Panin noted that artificial intelligence will automate a significant part of work processes, while the functions of employees will transform rather than disappear. Mastering AI tools, he said, increases efficiency and productivity in the workplace.

      The Russian society "Knowledge" annually holds events for youth across the country, organizes performances by representatives of culture, art, science, and other fields, as well as competitions and scientific contests. Since its reboot, the community of lecturers of "Knowledge" has united more than 32,000 people who have conducted over 200,000 lectures in 89 regions of Russia. 8,100 hours of educational content have been created. Online broadcasts and video materials of the society have gathered more than 2.5 billion views.
