55 Nizhny Novgorod companies participated in the Supplier Day in the "Education" sector.
55 small and medium-sized enterprises from the Nizhny Novgorod region, as well as representatives from 158 educational institutions, participated in the Supplier Day for the Department of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod city administration. The event was organized by the "My Business" center in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." Representatives from the regional Ministry of Industry, the "My Business" center, the unified financial support center of the Nizhny Novgorod region, and the Department of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod city administration participated in the Supplier Day. "The education sector unites a wide range of enterprises – from manufacturers of furniture and sports equipment to companies producing stationery and clothing. The Supplier Day in this direction gives small and medium enterprises the opportunity to meet directly with customers, present their proposals, and discuss possible forms of cooperation. During the meeting, our manufacturers held over 800 negotiations with customer representatives," noted the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Maxim Cherkasov. The minister reminded that a whole range of measures is in place in the Nizhny Novgorod region to develop the childhood industry. For about three years, a specialized cluster has been operating, which includes more than 100 enterprises. "Such events are an effective platform for direct dialogue between educational institutions and business. It is important for us that our schools and kindergartens receive quality products from local manufacturers – furniture, equipment, textbooks, and more. Here we can not only familiarize ourselves with the range of products but also establish long-term cooperation, which ultimately has a positive impact on the development of the entire educational environment of the city," said the director of the Department of Education of Nizhny Novgorod, Irina Boryakova. Within the framework of the Supplier Day, B2B negotiations were held with representatives of children's educational institutions, as well as consultations on business support infrastructure. Experts informed entrepreneurs about the existing state support measures that help prepare products to meet the requirements of large customers and expand production. An exhibition of products from Nizhny Novgorod companies also took place, where 35 companies presented their products: school uniforms, interactive equipment, stands, board games, furniture, sports equipment, and other products. In 2026, a Supplier Day for the "Detsky Mir" retail chain was already held in the Nizhny Novgorod region, with the participation of more than 70 Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs. Six more events are planned before the end of the year. The customers for these events will be companies from the fields of trade, construction, transport services, and the nuclear industry. We remind you that information about all business support measures at the federal and regional levels can be found at the "My Business" center (мойбизнес52.рф), which operates within the framework of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." A hotline "My Business" operates at the center, where all necessary information can also be obtained. Hotline phone number: 8 (800) 301-29-94 (call is free). According to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy" will become the main tool for forming a new growth model.
