      Industrial enterprises and entrepreneurs in the Lenin district of Nizhny Novgorod are helping to tidy up the city after winter in anticipation of the beautification month announced by Mayor Yuri Shalabaev. As reported by the district administration, more than 100 employees from various organizations participated in the latest community cleanup. Deputy Head of the Lenin District Administration Ulyana Poverenova stated that employees from businesses and entrepreneurs are cleaning up the areas adjacent to their organizations. "Every year, the business community joins the beautification month. This year, the weather allows us to start cleaning earlier, and employees from organizations are already tidying up. The first to participate in the cleanup were LLC 'Nizhny Novgorod Motors', LLC 'Trade Trade', individual entrepreneurs Aliyev E.T. and Gasanov M.A. We are grateful to everyone who did not stand aside; together we will significantly speed up the process of putting the district in order," she said. According to Elchin Aliyev, the manager of the 'Cozy' cafe located in Komsomolskaya Square, cleaning their territory after winter has become a tradition. "We do not wait for someone to ask us to clean; we see everything ourselves. As soon as the snow melted, we collected the trash, cleaned the lawns and sidewalks. We washed the facades and touched them up as needed. We will prepare the flowerbeds for planting. It is pleasant for visitors, and we are not ashamed," he emphasized. The Lenin District Administration reported that road and utility services are working daily on roads and courtyards. "Today, crews were cleaning the curb strips and sidewalks on Novikova-Priboya Street, Pamirskaya, Admiral Nakhimov Street, washing stops on Bauman Street, Pamirskaya, and Golubeva, as well as collecting trash from lawns on Admiral Makarov Street, Lenin Avenue, and conducting pothole repairs on Karpovskaya and Kompozitorskaya Streets," noted the specialists. Earlier, the city head Yuri Shalabaev announced that he held a large meeting with district heads and road workers. "We discussed the urgent issue of putting the city in order after the snowiest winter in the history of meteorological observations. The equipment is being re-equipped 'for summer', workers are cleaning the roads, curb strips, removing trash that has surfaced from under the snow, and starting to wash fences and stops. Soon we will begin washing the roadway, including with shampoo. The traditional beautification month for our city will take place from April 5 to May 15. We are still determining the date for the citywide cleanup. We expect more than 20,000 Nizhny Novgorod residents to participate," the mayor said.
