Three bridges were flooded in the Nizhny Novgorod region due to the flood.

      As of March 31, three low-water bridges were flooded in the Nizhny Novgorod region due to flooding. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region. Two bridges over the Kerzhenets River in the Semyonovsky district near the State Budgetary Institution "Regional Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children 'Young Nizhny Novgorod'" were flooded. There is no threat of flooding in the village of Kerzhenets, and evacuation was not required. The livelihood of the population is not disrupted, as there is a detour road through Olonikha 39 km away. Additionally, there is a pontoon pedestrian bridge 2 km away, and employees of the center can reach work by boat "Kazan."

      The bridge over the Linda, located 1 km from the village of Ostreyevo on the Bor, was also flooded. Evacuation was also not required, houses were not flooded, and it is possible to reach the villages of Doenki and Bykovo by car. A detour has been organized along the Tarasikha - Doenki road, which is 15 km long. A boat crossing is also operating with round-the-clock duty.
