Materials captured by surveillance cameras will be sent to the processing and storage center of video data of the "Safe City" automated system. Law enforcement agencies have access to this system. The installation of the video surveillance system is scheduled to be completed by the end of April.

      Recall that in the fall of 2023, 12 tactile models of the most famous landmarks were installed in Nizhny Novgorod. Such models are intended for blind or visually impaired people. Over time, the mini-copies became the target of close attention from vandals. In December 2024, the model of the monument to Maxim Gorky disappeared, and in the spring, the crosses from the models of the Church of John the Baptist and the Christmas Church were taken. It is worth noting that these incidents were not isolated but rather regular. Governor Gleb Nikitin also commented on this, suggesting that the perpetrators are unlikely to be Satanists, but rather "mindless drunks" or "cringy juvenile delinquents."
