The governor Gleb Nikitin announced the new support measure. According to him, the authorities have taken note of the appeals from private sports organizations that have faced rising rental costs for land plots owned by the state and municipalities. This particularly affected facilities that require large areas — tennis courts, equestrian clubs, and football fields. "I see appeals from private sports organizations, whose rental costs for land plots have significantly increased," the governor wrote on his MAX channel. The region has developed a support mechanism for such organizations. In particular, a registry of facilities will be created at the regional sports ministry. To be included, organizations must meet three criteria: the main activity must relate to the sports sector, the facility must be included in the All-Russian Register of Sports Facilities, and it must be used for its intended purpose. Organizations included in the registry will be able to receive land plots as part of the "Land for 1 Ruble" project — at a rate of 1 ruble per year for a period of 10 years. "We will definitely help private facilities that engage in sports activities, including those with a social focus, where children are involved," Nikitin emphasized. At the same time, program participants will be required to fulfill social obligations — providing free hours and benefits for activities for children under 18 from socially disadvantaged categories. To participate in the program, sports organizations are recommended to contact the regional sports ministry, where they will receive assistance with document processing.
