According to the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor, the bite occurred in the yard area in the Kstovo district. Previously, it was reported that a tick had attached itself to a 4-year-old child in Vorsma (Pavlovsky district). Both ticks have been examined and found to be non-infectious. One child was given anti-tick immunoglobulin. As of March 25, 487 people, including 52 children, have been vaccinated against tick-borne viral encephalitis.
