The rules for the evacuation of vehicles will change in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      March 21, 2026 11:11 Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, there are plans to adjust the procedures for the evacuation and storage of detained vehicles. A draft amendment to the regional legislation has been posted on the official website of the Legislative Assembly. The changes are aimed at aligning existing norms with federal acts, including provisions regulating the use of small vessels. In this regard, the text of the law specifies terms related to such vessels and their placement locations. Additionally, it is proposed to update the wording concerning those responsible for evacuation and storage. Instead of previous designations, a unified term is introduced — "representative of a specialized organization." This is intended to eliminate ambiguities and clearly define the circle of individuals responsible for the movement and maintenance of detained vehicles.
