The project "Inclusive School of Sports Tourism" became the winner of the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation.

The Dzerzhinsk team won a grant of more than three and a half million rubles. The head of the NGO "ParaPlan," Mikhail Chetvertakov, clarifies that while tourism-related projects have long been traditional for their organization, they always strive to make them even brighter, more interesting, and diverse. This time, they incorporated a sports component into the initiative. – Camping trips, kayaking, and nights by the campfire are essential to the activities of "ParaPlan." We were passionate about traveling even before the official opening of the organization, and now, thanks to such projects, we have reached a new cool level. If earlier the activities of the "Inclusive School of Tourism" involved mastering hiking skills, conducting tourism trips, kayaking, and paddleboarding, this year we are "connecting" training and competitions both in open water and in the "Parus" center pool, Mikhail Chetvertakov shares about the initiative. In his opinion, working in teams will surely appeal to the participants, helping them to get closer and socialize even better. This is the most important aspect of such projects, Mikhail is convinced: they provide an opportunity to meet like-minded people, sometimes to make friends, and even to find a partner. He also notes that winning the grant competition and the substantial cash prize is the merit not only of the organization members but also of their constant partners and helpers – the head of the Center for Socially Significant Projects "Changing the World," Alisa Shinkaruk, and the head of the Tourist Club "Satisfied Arctic Fox," Daria Mikheeva. It is precisely thanks to joint team efforts and endeavors that such a result has been achieved. – We always approach writing grant applications with great responsibility, write them well, and then implement projects brightly and interestingly, attracting a large number of participants. Every grant we win is a significant victory for us! And right now, the emotions are just overwhelming! Mikhail Chetvertakov shares his impressions, adding that this project is the first to win the competition of the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation.

The team plans to spend the awarded money on purchasing necessary equipment, swimming aids, paying for pool rental, and other related expenses. The organizers will start implementing the project, which will last for twenty months, in May, informing the group of the NGO "ParaPlan" on the social network "VKontakte" about how to apply for participation. All interested individuals with disabilities, as well as volunteers from all corners of our country, can apply.
