The National Research University Higher School of Economics and "School 21" have signed a cooperation agreement.

      March 23, 2026 11:48 "School 21" is a new evolutionary approach to education. The campus opened at the end of 2024. It is a joint project of the Nizhny Novgorod region government and Sberbank. The school is designed for 200 stations — workspaces with computers, operating 24/7 for anyone over 18, and offers the opportunity to obtain an IT profession for free in 1.5 to 3 years.

      Training at "School 21" follows the "peer-to-peer" methodology, where everyone learns from each other. After the selection stages, each student will be able to build an individual educational track based on their goals.

      Among the areas of focus are mobile development, cybersecurity, big data management, systems and business analysis, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of high-load services, as well as software testing. For those already working in the IT field, there are accelerated courses where they can specifically enhance their skills.

      "Friendship with 'School 21' has reached a new level: we have officially formalized our cooperation with an agreement. Our common goal is to give talented young people the opportunity to practice on real projects and together cultivate a new IT elite. We will experiment with learning formats and explore the digital future!" - wrote Ekaterina Lebedeva, director of the Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, on her channel.

      Ahead are big plans:

       development of student project and research activities in the IT field;

       development and implementation of educational programs in information technology;

       holding joint events: hackathons, educational intensives, conferences, round tables.
