The ferry crossing in Pavlov will suspend operations on January 14.

      The ferry crossing connecting Pavlovo and Tumbotino will temporarily cease operation on Sunday, January 14. No crossings will operate from 12:00 to 15:00 due to preparatory work for the installation of a pontoon bridge across the Oka River, the local administration's representatives reported on their social media page.

      Residents were urged to adjust their plans in advance taking into account the temporary suspension of traffic. Authorities asked Nizhny Novgorod residents to plan their movements in advance in light of this information.

      Recall that in December 2025 the crossing in this area was damaged due to an intense ice drift on the Oka. At that time, traffic on the Pavlovo–Tumbotino crossing was suspended. As a temporary solution for residents, a free ferry crossing was organized.

      Work is currently underway to restore full transport links between the settlements.
