An online psychological chat is now available to participants from Nizhny Novgorod in the special military operation.

      Participants in the special military operation and their relatives have been given the opportunity to receive round-the-clock psychological support in a single Telegram chat. The new service was organized by the Committee of Families of the Warriors of the Fatherland together with the Social Sphere Foundation — the team of the federal project "ZdravKontrol" — with the participation of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.

      The chat operates anonymously and allows people to receive help remotely. According to the head of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Committee, Inna Naumova, such support is especially important in situations when people feel anxious, lose their bearings in life, worry about relatives, or face difficulties in communication.

      "It is very important to support our guys who are in the area of the special military operation, as well as their families. They sometimes desperately need moral support, understanding and simply human contact," Naumova emphasized.

      Consultations in the chat are provided free of charge by qualified medical psychologists. The team includes 60 specialists from ten regions of Russia. They help people cope with anxiety, emotional burnout and post-holiday depression, which often occurs after long holidays.

      No personal data is required to request help — communication is completely anonymous. The service is available to residents of all regions of the country, regardless of time zone.

      Earlier it was reported that the governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Gleb Nikitin, signed a decree extending regional payments to participants in the special military operation.
