In 2025, the multifunctional public service centers (MFCs) of the Nizhny Novgorod Region expanded the range of state services provided, adding around 300 new items. This information was announced by representatives of the regional state budgetary institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Authorized MFC" when summing up the results of the past year.

Special attention was paid to improving the centers' infrastructure. For example, the region began implementing digital services that simplify the application process: the client identification procedure by biometric data, eliminating the need to present a passport, is now available in several branches. In addition, internal equipment and standards for the arrangement of premises were updated.

Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Yegor Polyakov emphasized the importance of developing the MFC network to increase citizens' comfort when receiving necessary services. The Nizhny Novgorod network became first in the all-Russian contest of regional MFC networks, winning in the "Best Large Regional Network" category.

Statistics demonstrating the effectiveness of the innovations were also presented. The region ranks among the leaders in the number of requests via the QR service "GosQR," which allows users' personal data to be quickly transmitted directly to MFC systems. The number of requests exceeded 140,000.

Director of the regional state budgetary institution "Authorized MFC," Svetlana Musarskaya, noted the high demand for traditional services, the most popular of which remain property registration, migration procedures, issuance and replacement of internal passports, as well as assistance in accessing the electronic services of the "Gosuslugi" portal. In total, almost 3 million services were provided to Nizhny Novgorod residents last year. To ensure high service quality, specialists undergo continuous training and actively cooperate with colleagues from other regions.

In addition, a major achievement of the year was the reduction in waiting time for compensation payments to families with children who study on a fee-paying basis. The package of documents required to apply for the benefit was also reduced.

The Nizhny Novgorod Region continues to be a leader in the quality and accessibility of MFC services, implementing modern technologies and increasing comfort for citizens. Details about the MFCs' work and the full list of services can be found on the agency's official website or by contacting MFC contact centers.

It was previously reported that more than 115,000 "Resident Cards of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" were issued in 2025.
