A Nizhny Novgorod resident won more than a million in the New Year's lottery.

      A resident of Nizhny Novgorod, Artem T., turned out to be the winner of a New Year's lottery draw, winning more than one million rubles.

      As the lottery company's press service reported, the draw took place on 1 January, as a result of which 98 new holders of large prizes appeared in Russia, among whom was the Nizhny Novgorod resident.

      It is noted that the future winner purchased an envelope with nine tickets, one of which brought him the coveted prize of 1 million rubles, and the others allowed him to additionally win another 1,180 rubles. Having already received the due amount, the winner shared plans to spend the money on organizing a family trip.

      Recall that the total amount won by residents of Nizhny Novgorod during the New Year's draw amounted to 66,732,409 rubles.
