According to information posted on the unified film screening accounting platform of the Film Fund (EAIS), the Russian-made children's picture "Buratino" managed to bring in about 2.006 billion rubles at cinema box offices during the winter holidays.
As of today, January 11, the new version of the wooden boy's adventures has been seen by more than 3.7 million viewers.
The project was directed by Igor Voloshin, and the music was written by Alexey Rybnikov, People's Artist of Russia and the composer of the soundtrack for the 1975 film.
The new version of "Buratino" stars Vitalia Kornienko, Alexander Yatsenko, Fyodor Bondarchuk, Viktoriya Isakova, Alexander Petrov, Anastasia Talyzina and other well-known actors. The role of the poodle Artemon was played by Nizhny Novgorod actor Mark Eidelshtein.
